Connecting Your Providers
You can connect your providers using the following details:
- Bank account information
- Debit card information
- Redirect link authentication (manual connection)
To connect using a bank account or debit card information, the admin must provide information about your business and set your branding on your Stripe account.
Step 1: Provide Business Information
After selecting a bank account or debit card as your connection method, you must fill in two fields just below the Client ID.
- Merchant Category Code (MCC): This is a four-digit number used to classify businesses by the type of goods or services they provide. It influences rewards, fees, and compliance in card transactions. Click here to learn more about MCC.
- Product Description: Please describe the specific goods or services you offer to your customers. For example, you might offer a Standard and Premium version of your goods or services; each version would be a separate product. These descriptions can be used with prices to configure pricing in payment links, checkout, and subscriptions.
Step 2: Set Up Branding in Your Stripe Account
- Access Branding Settings:
