The purpose of this article is to help you understand:

  • Where to locate the settings for the leads module
  • Where to manage your lead sources

Lead Settings

The Leads Module settings section contains several different options to help you manage your leads.  You can view these settings by clicking on Settings in the top right corner of the module and selecting the Settings option.

The first set of settings can be found in the General tab at the top of the page.

The first question pertains to when the "new" tag is displayed on a lead.

For the question, "How would you like to display the new tag?", you can select one of two options:

  • "Based on view" means the "new" tag will be displayed until that lead is opened.
  • "Based on days" allows you to select a period of 1 through 7 days in which the "new" tag will be displayed on that lead.

The next setting, "

  • "Yes" will allow the admin/staff to assign an owner to a lead whenever it has been added to the system.
  • "No" means there will not be an option to assign an owner to any of the leads.

The following setting, "Would you like to enable owners for work progress?" allows you to decide if you would like to assign a staff member as the "owner" for work progress on a lead when they've been added to one or more funnels.

  • "Yes" will allow the admin/staff to assign a work progress owner once a lead has been added to one or more funnels.  This helps track which staff member is working the lead.

  • "No" means the lead will not have an option for a work progress owner.

The final setting in the Settings section is to "Select a theme mode for leads."

  • Select "Light" to use the light theme for the leads dashboard.

  • Select "Dark" to use the dark theme for the leads dashboard.

The second tab under the Settings section is the Sources tab.

If you select "Yes" for "Activate sources", you will have the option to use both default and custom sources to assign to your leads.
