Overview
If an invoice is overdue and the customer has not made a payment yet, you can easily resend the invoice. With our enhanced functionality, invoices can now be sent via both Email and SMS—but only for Premium Subscribers. Below are the details of how this feature works based on your subscription level.
Automatic vs. Manual Invoice Sending
For Premium Subscribers: Invoices can be sent automatically via Email or SMS, saving you valuable time. You simply need to configure your settings to enable this feature. If you’re not a Premium Subscriber, you’ll need to manually send invoices through an invoice link.
Upgrade to Automatic Invoicing
If you're interested in the convenience of automatic invoicing, you can easily upgrade your subscription. Simply click the blue Upgrade Now button within the "Send Automatically" section to unlock this feature.
How to Send Invoices Automatically
To enable automatic sending of invoices for either Email or SMS:

Select the "Send Automatically" option for either the Email or SMS tabs (or both) when setting up your invoice.

Set up and verify your email for automatic email delivery. You can find step-by-step instructions on how to verify your sender email address in our dedicated email setup article.

Integrate with Twilio for SMS. If you wish to send invoices via SMS, you'll need to follow the instructions provided in our Twilio setup guide.
Additional Features for Premium Subscribers

CC Recipients: You can copy multiple recipients on your invoice emails. Just check the box labeled "Include additional email (CC)" and enter one or more email addresses in the provided fields. You can even save these email addresses to the customer’s profile by checking the "Add email to profile" box.

Billing Email: Want to send the invoice to a separate billing address? Simply check the box labeled "Billing Email" and input the appropriate email address.

Attach Invoice as PDF: If you'd like to attach a PDF version of the invoice to the email, toggle the switch next to "Attach invoice as PDF" to Yes.
How to Send Invoices Manually
If you're not a Premium Subscriber, invoices can still be sent manually via email or SMS. Here's how:

After creating the invoice, you can choose to send it via email or SMS by selecting the respective options.

If you prefer, you can also send the invoice link directly to your customer. This allows them to view and pay the invoice at their convenience. Click here for detailed instructions on how to send the invoice link.
