The purpose of this article is to help you understand:

  • What all the features under the "Provider" tab in your store options are

 

Bookings

 

Default Categories

This option allows you to give reimbursements to your providers. You can select who receives them between 1099 Independent Contractors or W-2 Employees.

Click the green "Add Variable" button and place in the reimbursement into the "Variable Name". 

For example, if you provide reimbursement for gas then you will put "Gas" as the variable name. Then you will select if it goes towards the service are or merchant location and finally you will put the price of how much of the reimbursement they get. 

 

Default Pay

This option allows you to set the pay for all providers automatically when a new one gets added to your system. 

You can set it as hourly, percentage based, or flat rate. 

 

Do you want each provider to have a My Drive option to share documents?

Do you want to allow providers to upload files?

Would you like to enable the speed tag?

Would you like to disable the help center tab in the provider’s dashboard?

 

Scheduling

 

Accepted Automatically

This option allows you to set the bookings that come in to be accepted automatically and paired with an available provider. 

 

Accepts Same Day Only

This option allows you to set the bookings that come in to be accepted automatically and paired with an available provider except for same day bookings. If you allow for same day bookings then those will be set to the Uber like feature where you will have to either Accept or Deny for that same day booking. These same day bookings end up in the "Unassigned Folder" to be accepted or denied. 

 

Accepts All Jobs

All bookings will be set to the Uber like feature where you will have to either Accept or Deny for all bookings. These bookings end up in the "Unassigned Folder" to be accepted or denied. 

 

How long do providers/teams have to accept the job before it is passed on to the next provider/team?

This option is for Accepts Same Day Only and Accepts All Jobs. 

This allows you to set a time limit on how long a provider has to accept or deny the job before it is passed along to the next provider in order of priority and availability. 

 

Can provider set and modify their own schedule?

This option allows you to let the provider set and modify their own schedules from inside their personal accounts. 

 

Does provider need a reason when making a scheduling modification?

This option allows you to make the provider give you a reason as to why they are making changes to their schedule. 

 

Does merchant have to approve the request?

This option allows you to either approve/deny the request or let it go through automatically. 

 

Should we include a tutorial video to help the provider out with this section?

This option allows you to replace our default video with one of your own explaining how this section works. 

 

Can provider set and modify their own settings?

This option allows you to let the provider set and modify their own settings like locations they want to work or don't, certain packages or any pricing items that they will or won't work, etc..

 

Does provider need a reason when making a settings modification?

This option allows you to make the provider give you a reason as to why they are making changes to their settings. 

 

Does merchant have to approve the settings request?

This option allows you to either approve/deny the request or let it go through automatically.

 

Which settings can provider update?

This option allows you to pick and choose what settings the provider can update. Wages are automatically deselected as you have control over how much they are paid. 

 

Should we include a tutorial video to help the provider out with this section?

This option allows you to replace our default video with one of your own explaining how this section works. 

 

Should providers be able to see their own ratings?

This option allows you to enable or disable providers from seeing the ratings customers left about them. 

 

Should providers be able to see customer reviews?

This option allows you to enable or disable providers from seeing the reviews customers left about them. 

 

Should providers be able to see the customer’s email address in the booking?

This option allows you to enable or disable the customers email address from the booking so that the provider can either see it or not. 

 

Should providers be able to see the customer’s phone number in the booking?

This option allows you to enable or disable the customers phone number from the booking so that the provider can either see it or not. 

 

Would you like to be able to enable provider pairing (combine providers into temporary teams)?

This option allows you to enable individual providers to be able to pair with others. Only you the admin can pair providers while customers cannot. Up to 3 providers can be paired per booking. 

 

Would you like to activate the GPS feature which includes clocking in/clocking out?

This option allows you to enable the GPS feature on the Provider App so that providers can clock in and out of jobs when they start and complete them. 

 

Would you like to enable auto clock-out?

This option allows you to let the provider automatically clock out when they are finished with a job by noticing them leaving a customers home after 500 meters.

 

Do you use miles or kilometers?

This option allows you to select miles or kilometers for the GPS feature. 

 

Would you like the merchant to track team leader or everyone?

This option allows you to track either the team leader or everyone individually in a team. 

 

Would you like to automatically set up new provider's schedules or leave them not set up?

This option allows you to set a default schedule to all new providers added into your system. 

If you select "Not Set" then they will be left blank and you will have to edit those each individually and manually.

If you select "Pick Custom" then you will now be able to set the default schedules for all providers that will be added into your system going forward.
