The purpose of this article is to help you understand:    

  • Where to go to edit the booking summary
  • How to show or hide booking summary aspects
  • How to display extras with and without pricing
  • How to display exclude parameters with and without pricing

 

The Booking Summary

The booking form's booking summary is what you and your customers see when filling out the form. It summarizes the basic details of the booking as well as the pricing for the service.  

The booking summary's appearance can be edited in the website and theme builder.  To begin, please go to:

Settings > Design Forms & Website > Website Builder & Themes > Customize Theme

Once you are insight the website builder, click on the top center Page menu and select the Book Now page.

Scroll down the page until you see the Booking Summary on the right side of the page.

Remove "Powered by BookingKoala" Branding

If you are a Growing or Premium subscriber, you can remove the BookingKoala branding from the booking summary. Please click here for our guide.  

 

Show or Hide Booking Summary Labels

To show or hide the booking summary labels, click on the booking summary above the labels and select the Edit button.  Then, scroll down the left side menu and click the Show/Hide buttons as needed. 

 

Show or Hide the Price of Extras in the Booking Summary

Once you click to Edit the Booking Summary, the left-side menu will appear with options to adjust the Settings. Scroll down until you locate the "Choose layout" sections just below the Extras label.  

Click on whichever option you prefer: extras without pricing, or extras with pricing.  

 

Show or Hide the Price of Exclusions in the Booking Summary

Similarly, if you scroll down until you locate the "Choose layout" sections just below the Excludes label, you can decide whether you would like to display your exclusion parameters with or without pricing.

 

Show or Hide the Professionals Label

Continue to scroll down the left side menu and you will find the option to Show or Hide the "Professionals" label.  This label shows how many service providers are scheduled to do the job. 

In addition to the show/hide option, there is a Control Visibility button.  The Control Visibility button opens a pop-up that allows you to decide which parties can see this information: customers, admin/staff, or both.

 

Show or Hide the Length Label

Similarly, the Length label can be shown or hidden and also has a Control Visibility button to manage which parties can see the booking time length.

 

Change the Booking Summary Font/Colors

To change the colors, font weight, and font size of the Booking Summary, click on the Style tab at the top of the left-side menu.

 

Rearrange the Order of the Booking Summary

To rearrange the order of the labels in the Booking Summary, click the Rearrange tab at the top of the left-side menu, or click the Rearrange button to open the Rearrange tab.

Then, drag and drop the labels into the desired order and click the blue "Save" button.

 

Edit the "Total" Summary

Just like the body of the main booking summary, you also can modify the "Total" section of the Booking Summary. 

 Just like the main Booking Summary, there are three tabs that control the Total Summary.
