Before You Begin

If you would like to enable automatic rating notifications, please be sure you have first set up and verified your email and SMS notification settings.

Automatic Rating Notifications

One of the ways you can encourage your customers to leave feedback about the service is by enabling the "Rate Us" notification.

When enabled, customers will receive an email or SMS message after the service has been completed with a link to rate their service.

Once they click the link, they will be redirected to a rating page where they can leave a review without having to log in to their account.  

The notifications section also contains five additional templates based on customer ratings. 

When enabled, these follow-up notifications are sent to the customer based on how many stars they rated the service.  

 

Email Notifications

To enable the rating email for customers, please go to:

Settings > Notifications > Emails

Click on the "Customer" tab at the top of the page. Check that the toggle button next to "Email Notifications" is set to "Enabled" as well.

Scroll down until you see the "Rating & Review" section. Click the plus sign icon to expand it.  

If the button next to the "Rate Us" email is green and says "Enabled", your automated email notifications are turned on and ready to go! 

If the button says "Disabled", click it once to enable the notification.  

Click the grey "Schedule Email" button to set when you would like the notification to be sent out. By default, the email will be sent out just after the booking is completed. For example, if a 3-hour service is scheduled at 8 AM, the system will send out the notification just after 11 AM.

You can select to delay the notification by up to 24 hours after the service has been completed.  Click the blue "Save" button to update the notification schedule.  

If you would like to enable any of the rating follow-up notifications, please switch the toggle button(s) to "Enabled".  

To view/edit the content for each notification, click the pencil icon/"Edit" to the right of the description.

The follow-up notifications are:

  • 50% off your service (happy rating ot v1)
    • This notification offers a one-time customer a 50% off coupon towards recurring services if they left a rating of 4 out of 5 stars or higher.
    • To utilize this template, you must create a corresponding coupon in the Coupons section.  Click here to learn how to create a new coupon.  

  • Happy rating (ot v2) 
    • This notification is sent to one-time customers if they have left a rating of 4 out of 5 stars or higher.
  • Happy rating (rec) 
    • This notification is sent to recurring customers if they have left a rating of 4 out of 5 stars or higher.
  • Average rating
    • This notification is sent to any customer who leaves a rating of 3.0 or 3.5 out of 5 stars. 
       
  • Poor rating 
    • This notification is sent to any customer who leaves a rating of 2.5 or lower out of 5 stars. 

 

SMS Notifications

To enable your rating SMS notification for customers, please go to:

Settings > Notifications > SMS

Click on the "Customer" tab at the top of the page. Check that the toggle button next to "SMS Notifications" is set to "Enabled" as well.

Scroll down until you see the "Rating & Review" section. Click the plus sign icon to expand it.  

If the button next to the "Rate Us" email is green and says "Enabled", your automated email notifications are turned on and ready to go!
