The purpose of this article is to help you understand:
- How to view invoice logs for active and draft invoices
- How to view invoice payment logs for draft invoices
Getting Started
To begin, go to the Invoice Dashboard under:
Bookings > Booking Charges > Invoices tab.
Invoice Logs
Invoice logs are logs that show the types of updates an invoice has undergone. This includes when the invoice was created, if the invoice was updated, and any changes in payment status to the invoice.
To view an invoice's logs, click on the down arrow icon beneath the Actions column and select View Log.
The invoice logs can be filtered by actions taken by the merchant, staff, and customer by clicking on the Roll drop-down menu.
Each log will include the invoice number, the action taken, who modified the invoice, and the time of the modification.
Invoice Payment Logs
Invoice payment logs show details related to payment(s) made toward an invoice. For example, if an invoice is set for partial payment, there would be multiple logs showing each payment made towards the invoice.
To view an invoice's payment logs, click on the down arrow icon beneath the Actions column and select Payment Logs.
A popup will display all payment logs related to that invoice.
