How do I use the Invoice Module?

The Invoice Module is designed to help you send invoices to customers, track invoice status, and charge invoice payments.  

An invoice is a bill that lists the services provided to the customer with a statement of the total payment due. Invoices can be created for new or existing customers. Click here to learn how to create and send a new invoice.

All invoices both active and drafted can be viewed from the Invoice DashboardClick here to learn how to navigate the invoice dashboard, including how to filter invoices by frequency, card status, payment status, date, and more.

Who has access to the Invoice Module?

The Invoice Module is included in all subscriptions.

However, several features in the Invoice Module are only included in the Premium subscription, specifically the ability to: 

  • Hide the BookingKoala branding at the bottom of the invoice

  • Send invoices via email and SMS automatically 

  • Add reminders for an invoice

  • Send a customer a card link for an invoice

  • Allow partial/advanced payment

  • Allow the customer to add a tip

Where can I find the Invoice Module?

To open the Invoice Module, go to the main menu on the left of your Dashboard and click on the "Bookings" tab. Then, select "Booking Charges". At the top of the page, select the "Invoices" tab.
