  • What types of notifications we offer
  • Who can receive the notifications 
  • Verify your email address for email notifications

 

Where Are The Notifications? 

To find your notifications go to: 

Settings >

Notifications >

Click on one of the following; Emails, SMS, App Notifications, System Alerts > 

Once in the proper section, at the top of the page you can choose which notifications pertain to what subset of people. For example, admin, customers, providers or staff.

 

Types of Notifications: 

  • Email 
  • SMS 
  • App Notifications
  • System Alerts

 

Who Receives Each of the Notifications? 

Email: Admin, Customers, Providers, Staff
SMS: Admin, Customers, Providers
App Notifications: Customers and Providers
System Alerts: Admin and Staff

 

Setting Up Your "Sender" Email For Email Notifications:

When you signed up for your BookingKoala account you should have received an email with a link to confirm your email address that you used to sign up with. Click the link inside to verify your email address and you will be ready to send out your email notifications. 

To change your sender email address, please go to:

Settings >

Notifications >

General >

Place the new email address you would like to use inside the "Sender Email Address" box. 

Then click the blue "Update" button >

Once you have input the updated email address, you will receive an email from us (support@bookingkoala.com) with a link that you will need to click on. The link will redirect you to AWS or Amazon Web Services saying "Congratulations!" at the top of the page. Once you see this, your email is now verified and you can begin to have your email notifications be sent out from this new address. There are no other further steps needed to verify your email.
