What are hot leads?

Hot leads are customers who never completed the booking form and left before finishing. (Premium feature). Sometimes, potential visitors leave your website without finishing the booking, but if they leave some information that includes a phone number and/or email, we can capture that information. Later you can reach out to them and see why they didn't complete the booking.

How are hot leads collected?

 

A hot lead is someone who fills out your booking form but "abandons their cart" before they complete the booking.  These abandoned cart customers are some of the hottest leads you can have because they are interested in your services and they have already partially filled out the booking form, giving you a better idea of what they are looking for.

A few minutes after leaving the booking page, hot leads are automatically sorted into a pre-built Abandoned Cart funnel inside your Leads Module.  Here you can follow up with the lead and try to entice them to book a service.  

These leads are also tracked when adding a booking as admin/staff through the 'Add Booking' button. Whenever taking bookings over the phone, leads will automatically end up inside the leads module so you can work on them later.

Whether the booking was completed and saved by admin/staff or the person left without finishing the booking, the information will be saved inside the leads module. You can later go inside the leads module and continue where you left off.

 

Tips for Converting Hot Leads

Here are some of our best tips on converting hot leads into customers:

Tip #1: Call AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!

  • Studies indicate that contacting a lead within 5 minutes can result in a 21 times higher conversion rate compared to waiting 30 minutes.

  • 50% of leads tend to choose the first company that reaches out to them.

Tip #2: Follow up with your leads.

  • Around 80% of sales are made after five or more follow-up attempts.

  • 60% of customers may say "no" up to four times before accepting a sale. 

Tip #3: Be helpful and do not oversell your company.

 

How It Works

Here’s how it works:

  • When a user's subscription plan expires, access to hot leads tracked from system forms is restricted.

  • Instead of providing full access to these leads, we notify the user via email.

  • If you'd like to stop such notifications, you can snooze them by clicking the 'Snooze notification' towards the bottom of that email.

  • Upon visiting the Leads module Leads section, users will see blurred lead items. This indicates that leads have been tracked, but their details are not accessible. These blurred leads are referred to as "hot leads."

  • To unlock access to all the leads, including the hot leads, users need to upgrade their subscription plan to the Premium subscription.
